Sacred Space Living was founded by Alessandro Longo, bringing together his expertise as an architect and accredited healer to explore how design can enhance health, wellbeing and the relationship between people and the natural world.

Alessandro is an ARB registered Architect and Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), with a background in art and design and professional experience across architecture, interiors and product design. Throughout his career, he has designed and led projects in the high-end residential, hospitality, workplace and retail sectors for internationally recognised clients including Apple, Argent, Ballymore, Equinox and Nike, with projects spanning Europe and the Middle East. He is currently a Senior Associate at the global architecture and design practice Woods Bagot.

Alongside his architectural career, Alessandro has pursued a longstanding interest in healing and the deeper relationship between people, place and consciousness. His journey began through the study of Vedic meditation and the Vedas before training to Reiki Master level in Usui/Holy Fire Reiki. He later completed the two-year Healing Diploma at The School of Intuition and Healing under Sue Allen and is now an accredited healer and member of the British Alliance of Healing Associations (BAHA).

Driven by a desire to unite these two disciplines, Alessandro undertook postgraduate studies in The Science of Space Harmonics at the Geophilia Academy, researching the principles of Healing and Biological Architecture. This research explores how sacred geometry, fractality, materiality and harmonic resonance may contribute to creating bioactive environments that support both human wellbeing and ecological regeneration.

This philosophy underpins Sacred Space Living, where architecture is viewed not only as a means of creating beautiful and sustainable buildings, but as an opportunity to design environments that actively support life. This approach was recognised internationally with the Sacred Space Healing Retreat Centre that received a WAFX 2026 Award in the Ageing and Health category and was shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival 2026 in the Future Projects – Health category.
